We are now building our company for 2027 season, as The Great Yorkshire Circus continues to grow into a bold, traditional touring production across the region.

We are recruiting a small, committed company for an 8 to 12 week summer tour across Yorkshire (July - September 2027)

We are looking for:

​

Circus Artists
High quality, beautifully presented acts suitable for a family audience. Strong personality, timing and the ability to work within a narrative led show are essential. In particular we are looking for floor / ground acts; such as jugglers, chair stacker, diablo, quick change, magic skills, balance acts for instance.

​

General Worker (with tent experience)
We are looking for a general worker, who has experience of working on circus, and experience in putting tents up. A range of tasks will be expected, but mainly helping with the build up, pull down, looking after the tent, and helping at show time to support the show. 

 

Technician
Sound and lighting technician, with basic knowledge, but a can do attitude. This role might be suitable for someone who is about to go to university to study technical theatre for instance.

• Full availability required for contracted period

• Touring lifestyle with outdoor sites

• Accommodation options discussed on a case by case basis (we can provide accommodation) 

• Yorkshire based applicants encouraged
