Once thought lost to time, the Great Yorkshire Circus has been brought back to life through a discovery beneath the stage itself.
While exploring the old cellars of a local theatre, the owner opened a long forgotten door. Inside lay a hidden world of circus history. Costumes, posters and props, all covered in dust, with the faint echo of laughter still clinging to the walls. The circus had been there all along, waiting.
Now carefully restored, the Great Yorkshire Circus invites you to step away from the everyday and into a world of wonder. Featuring thrilling acrobatics, hilarious clowning, dazzling costumes, music, this family show celebrates the magic of traditional circus.
